Author Bio – Scott Gracie
Lighthouses takes readers on a captivating journey through the world of lighthouses, visiting amazing locations shaped by light. Scott’s fascination with light began in his early teens, tinkering with electronics as a hobby, and grew further once he studied Electrical and Electronics after school at Randwick North High School in Sydney.
In 1998, Scott started his career building custom light fittings and lamps in his father’s garage. Formal lighting-design qualifications later expanded his work into project management and design, and over twenty-five years on, he has worked on infrastructure, commercial and architectural lighting projects across Australia. He is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of Australia & New Zealand, the Colour Society of Australia, the International Dark Sky Association, the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, and the Australian division of the CIE.
